Bittersweet Moment

A young woman ran upto the Ticket Counter... she was panting... her eyes were swollen... tears were streaming out of her eyes... she took a moment to take her breath...

She turned back for half a second... he was not there... not running behind her...

She led out a sarcastic smile...

Was he ever there for her?

She nodded her head negatively and bought a bottle of mineral water... she cracked open the seal and gulped down some contents of that water...

How could she even think that he would try to stop her... isn’t this what he wanted... she being away from her life...

Picking up her small bag... she staggered towards the counter... there was only one place where she could go know...

Srinagar...

Wiping her tears away she asked the old man over there... “Kaka... ek ticket... Jammu Tawai...”

The old man looked at her... “Betiya... kab ke liye..”

“Abhi..” Sakshi said..

“Beti... ab... chalo dekhta hoon...” he murmured... thankfully it was an empty train...

“2nd class... par kyunki itni jaldi khareed rahe ho toh kharch..” The old man said... “Koi baat nai...” she said and paid him by cash...

“Aapka naam..” he asked...

“Sakshi Rawte.” she said...

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Arjun came up to consciousness... his head whizzed in pain... wait he had to stop her.. clutching his head he tried to move his limbs... when he felt a tight grip on his hands...

“Rawte... are you fine?” a familiar voice asked...

“Sam...” he mumbled...

Sameer stiffened... there was a serious issue... Arjun felt the presence of another person as well.. must be Ayesha...

She handed him over a strong cup of tea...

As Arjun started recollecting what had happened... his eyes shot out open...

“Sam... I need to find her... woh chali gayi... woh woh...” Arjun said like a frantic...

“Mujhe kuch samaj main nahi aa raha hai...” Sameer said...

“Did you just say Sakshi left?” Ayesha asked... shocked...

“Haan... woh.. woh..” Arjun said.. “We fought...” he mumbled...

“Damn It! Arjun tell me something else... half of the time you anyways fight with her! You should have left her so as to she could have a better life!” Sameer gritted through his teeth...

“That is what I intended to do Sam... but that destroyed everything...” Arjun’s voice chocked...

“Shut up both of you... ek ladki khilona nahi hoti ki ek baar iss aadmi ke saath rakhdo... agar khush nahi toh kisi aur ke saath... and Rathore sir aap bhi?” Ayesha shook her head negatively...

“Kaha gayi hai?” Ayesha asked...

“Pata nahi...” Arjun answered..

“Chalo uske ghar dekhte hain...” Sameer said and the trio walked out...

“How did you find me?” Arjun asked...

“Called you 5 billion times... no pick up... called Sakshi... no pick up... I was scared... cause the last time this happened..” Sameer’s voice trailed away as he sped the SUV towards Sakshi’s previous flat...

“The last time this happened it was Roshni’s murder...” Arjun completed...

Ayesha kept silent... her mind revolved on one thing... Sakshi had loved Arjun with every breath she took... she is sure that Sakshi still does... then what happened that she left?

“Damn It!” Sameer swore upon reaching her home...

“It’s locked... Arjun sir... koi relatives?” Ayesha asked...

Arjun nodded no...

Sameer immediately called up Shree to track her phone... “Wo Ghar pe hain Rathore.. the phone’s at home..” Arjun answered... looking lost...

“Why the hell would she leave without phone?”  Sameer asked shocked!

“Mujhe nahi pata...” Arjun mumbled and slumped on the bench as Ayesha kept on talking with Shree to get negative responses about her movement... her credit card was unused... her phone - at home.. none of her friends knew... she didn’t have much either.... parents were already dead... and the last thing would be relatives... hadn’t he married her to save her from them?

“Devta Arjun... aapko kuch bhi pata hai ya nahi? 3 saal ki shadi hai usse... kuch toh pata hoga... right something! Koi toh hoga iss dunia main jiske paas woh jaa sakti hai...” Sameer asked to Arjun frustratedly...

“Haan... ek hain...” Arjun said suddenly...

“Sir milgaya... Srinagar.. Sakshi Rawte ne kuch  15 hours pehle on board hui... she would reach there by few more hours...” Ayesha concluded...

“When is the upcoming flight to Srinagar?” Arjun asked...

“Sir... in 6.30 ke kareeb ek flight hai..” Ayesha said...

“Book kardo... when would we reach Srinagar?” Arjun asked...

“10.45 in the morning... there are 2 stops in between...” Ayesha concluded...

“Fine... book 3 tickets...” Sameer said...

“No.. only 1..” Arjun said...

“Damn it... Arjun... it’s better we three..” Sameer started..

“NO.. just 1!” Arjun said...

“Sir... Sakshi may want to speak to me... instead of you... so it’s better that I come...” Ayesha convinced Arjun...

“And yes... so I will come as well... yeh baat samjhe ya samjhaaun Arjun?” Sameer snapped at him...

“Flight is in 4 hours... go and pack stuff...” Sameer instructed...

“Nahi... main seedha Airport javunga...” Arjun said...

“Isse flight jald hi nahi aani waali hai... just pack some clothing and stuff ok? And ya... I do have questions pending...” Sameer said and went towards home...

As Arjun was dropped into his home he looked at the messed up house... glasses broken... flower pots broken... water thrown on the floor.. her bracelet on the floor.. broken into pieces... he could still hear her shouts on the walls... How could you think so? her painful screams hit his ears...

Shoving his clothes into his bag he came across her phone... it was simple grey in color... exactly how her life was... he had entered into her life with a storm...

Before walking out of his home he looked at her picture... he missed this Sakshi... if she would only understand... that he too...

He snapped out of her memories when Sameer called him...

He looked at the picture in front again...

It was his mistake...

He shouldn’t have thought like this...

But what else could he do?

He wanted her to have a better life...

He slowly walked towards the car... his heart thudding loudly...

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Sakshi looked at the slight snow that had started to fall... Srinagar... her hometown... she looked at the familiar pine trees... the chilly weather always rose her spirits... but this time... she felt cold... lonely... vulnerable..

Clutching her mangalsutra tightly in her hands she cursed what had happened... was it her mistake... that she couldn’t make him believe that he was all that she wanted?

Her mistake... it was her mistake... maybe in an effort to keep him comfortable... she had distanced herself away from him... and he thought something else...

But still he didn’t have any right to do that...

She wiped her tears away and boarded of the train as she reached the station...

“Bhai... ticket... woh Hari Parbat ke liye...” She asked and he passed her the ticket...

After paying cash she boarded the bus and finally reached the Hari Parbat... the temperature had dropped to 12 degrees... being dressed in a simple shirt and black leggings

... she felt every bone in her body chill to numbness... she dug into her bag to find something when a full sleeved faded black shirt came out...

She stared at the shirt for a few minutes...

It was his...

Walking towards a small clearing she sat on the grass... she clutched the shirt tightly... she dug her face into his shirt and smelt his fragrance... she started crying and wrapped his shirt around herself... and hugged herself tightly...

Silently crying... she wiped her tears off and knocked on the door.. “Sakshi?” a voice came...

“Nani...” Sakshi hiccuped and hugged her tightly...

“Naa meri bachchi...” Nani patted her head softly...

“Jaa... sone chale jaa... baad main baat karenge...” she said and softly patted her grandchild to sleep...

“Woh...woh..” Sakshi started...

“Shush... nahi.. kuch nahi... mujhe kuch nahi jaanna... bas ab so ja...mera shona Tikli...” She lulled Sakshi to sleep as she hugged her tightly... the other reason why she loved her so much...

Her Nani never asked questions... for her the main thing was that her baby should stop crying...

Planting a kiss on her forehead she left and took slow steps to the kitchen... Sakshi’s grandmother was just like her... slightly taller... she had a lean regal figure... wearing a simple blue saree and a deep blue shawl around her... silver rimmed glasses perched on her nose... in spite of being well in her 60’s only few parts of her hair had aged white... rest all was jet black....

Wisdom was her key note... she spoke less... listened more...

She had been there when her Tikli... yup... Sakshi had always been Tikli for her.. her Nani called her as the most precious maang tika it had...

“Nani.. mela dooshla naam Tikli kyun hai?” A baby Sakshi asked as Nani was carrying her and taking her around her house... trying to make her eat her porridge..

“Tikli ka matlab hai maang tika... jo hum sar pe laga te hai... yeh dekh rahe ho... tumhare Nana ne jo diya... woh...” Her Nani explained...

‘Toh main aapke shal be beith javun...” Sakshi asked... her big big eyes twinkling as she played with the fountain propped on top of her bobbing head...

“Na mera shona baby... par jaise iss tika ko pehenke main sundar lagti hoon na... waise tere wajeh se meri naam hamesha roshan hoga... ab understood?” Her Nani completed and fed the remaining part of porridge to her...

“Acha... ab muje woh blave lani aul laja ka kahani shunao na!” the 4 year old Sakshi snuggled on her Nani’s lap...

“Acha... aur humari pari humse kuch nahi sunna chahegi?” her Nana came suddenly...

“Naaaanuuu!!!!” baby Sakshi jumped and hugged her Nana... “Na.. humari sweetu Tikli ko koi raja ki zaroorat nahi.. hum unhe sirf ek rani ki baare main batayenge... sabse brave waali... acha Tikli... do minute ke liye aankh band...” Her Nana told her...

“Okay nanu...” she said and put her soft hands on her eyes...

He smiled and looked at his wife... he quickly went forward and planted a small kiss on her cheek...

“Nanu... kishi ho gayi?” A naughty Sakshi asked...

“Tikli!!!!” They both screamed and ran behind a little Sakshi... her little fountain pony hobbled left right and her squeals of laughter filled the room...

Flashback ends...

Her Nani remembered the day Sakshi had got married to Arjun.. truth be told she was frightened... no... she had seen the care in his eyes for Sakshi...and he wouldn’t betray her...  but afraid if he will be able to keep her happy...

The grief and darkness in his eyes were so much... that she was afraid that it could consume Sakshi... but then his intense eyes held another look when he had gently held Sakshi’s shoulder at her bidaai... that look gave her hope...

She kept her faith on God and let things go in its course... but today when she saw Sakshi at the doorstep her fears had realized...

Looking exhausted... her kaajal had run out... she was wearing an oversized shirt - probably Arjun’s... all her hopes about their happy married life was in ruins...

She went back to Sakshi’s room to see her clutching his shirt... while sleeping she softly mumbled his name...

Nani came out and sat on the living room... taking a small kerchief and wiping away her tears... she closed her eyes and prayed to the lord above to resolve the issues...

If she came to know that Arjun had hurt her dear child... if he had betrayed her... then swear on the Lord she prayed to ... he would never get Sakshi back...

But then the question propped in her head... would he even come to take her back?

If only she knew that the Lord answered her question right then and there....

---------------------------------------------------------------

Sitting in the car Arjun looked outside... the lights that flashed before his eyes... his eyes darted to the setting sun... this was the favorite time of Sakshi... she loved twilight... no she didn’t tell him.. wait... after marriage did they even speak to each other?

He often found her in the balcony.. looking into the horizon... and precious tears dripping from her eyes... which jabbed him again in the heart... and shouted at him that she deserved a happier marriage...

Often he felt of reaching out to her and telling her... speaking to her... but she never waited for his words... and he never stopped hear hers....

He snapped out as he heard something fall... “Woh... sir... meri phone... it fell... can you...” Ayesha started and Arjun passed her her phone...

He silently looked at the equation Rathore ... Sameer and Ayesha shared... silent... yet precious... for them the silence worked in their benefit... but for him and Sakshi.. it pulled every cord at which their marriage was standing on...

He closed his eyes... he was being selfish... khudgarz... as they say... he was the most unsuitable guy for Sakshi... but unfortunately now he wanted her back... maybe the relation could have started better... maybe if he could convince her that he too felt something.. maybe it was hesitation and a tone of regret that stopped him... maybe he could forego them and see a future of Sakshi and himself...

There were many possibilities of maybe...

He couldn’t let go of that... after that... it’s her decision... he always would respect that...

He recalled their wedding night... it had been anything but romantic.... clad in a simple wedding dress and minimal jewelry Sakshi looked breathtaking...

He still remembers the intricate details of her... the kajal lines that artfully designed her deer like eyes... there was a slight bit of blush on her cheekbones... a red bindi with stones placed in between her eyebrows... her lashes were untouched... yet they looked voluminous ... she fidgeted as she sat on the bed... her nails were painted in light white - pink color... there was little bit mehendi... not too much because he had shown his open dislike for that...

But even in the candle light he noticed how deep the color had turned too...

She had a few locks loose around her face which just enhanced her beauty... her eyebrows scrunched as she didn’t know what to do... by now she had counted the number of flowers on her hand... the middle parting of her forehead filled with vermillion...

Slight specks of it was on top of her nose as well.. she bit her pink lips when she saw him approaching...

As he sat on the bed.. she lowered her gaze... her heart started pounding.. she closed her eyes in anticipation...

“Sakshi?” he called her softly...

“Hmm...” she answered but kept her eyes shut...

“Sakshi.. we need to talk.. please...” he said... hesitating... her pretty eyes shot open and she stared at him... the look in her eyes put a pang of guilt in his heart...

“See.. I don’t guess main yeh shadi nibha pavunga... agar tumhare papa ke saath yeh promise na hota aur agar tumhare woh relatives waise na kehta then I wouldn’t have married you... I need some time to accept things... even though I can say that I care for you... but I am afraid I won’t be able to accept you as my better half... you know na in what situation I married you...” he said looking aside... when he turned aside he found her staring at him... her eyes turned like crystals as tears started brimming on her eyes...

“Yeh shadi majboori thi...” she whispered to herself but that didn’t miss his ears..

His stance stiffened in shock...

She didn’t know it was against his wish!

She got up from the bed... throwing the petals away.. “Sakshi main...” he said...

“It’s fine Arjun... main guest room jaa rahi hoon.. tum yahi so jao...” she said quietly and left... but he held her hand... “Sakshi... main.. hum...” he started....

Sakshi wiped a tear away.. “No problem Arjun.. bas pehle ek baar keh dete that it was forced... and yeah... agar tum chahte ho toh.. then we can... like... part ways... ” her voice chocked on that...

“Arjun don’t mind... in front for I might be your wife.. but over here Roshni will always remain your wife... I wouldn’t take her place... trust me...” she said quietly and left his hand and went to the other room...

Arjun stood still... she had got it wrong... he didn’t want her to think or neither did he say that she would be taking Roshni’s place...

And from there hesitation started... he started becoming more careful while speaking to her... he didn’t want to hurt her further.... and she kept away from him.. so as to he doesn’t feel uneasy...

But in reality they just widened the gap between themselves...

Whenever he came back late from office he would find her typing a report... she started walking for longer hours... so sometimes they would come back home together... food would be cooked more... in the late hours he would heat her prepared food but then there would be left for another person to eat as well... his clothes would be ironed and ready... so would his cutting chai... along with the newspaper... she would often sit next to him... stealing glances.. then turning aside and take a deep sigh...

Finally Arjun thought to break every barrier and speak out... when a new member joined the team... - Karan...

He was everything that Sakshi was...chirpy, talkative, a great sense of humor, witty, flirtatious... and deeply loyal to his work... but he lived on fun on the run theory...

He was everything that Arjun wasn’t...

He had seen Karan whispering some things to Sakshi and she would slap him on the arm... after 3 years he had seen glimpses of the old Sakshi back in her... and jealousy surged in his blood..

What was it that Karan had that he didn’t... she could easily chat with him while he sat with her and chatted with her... but whenever she sat with Arjun she would be silent... just sometimes looking at him... but mostly remained quiet...

The jealousy increased to a level that he used to leave the without breakfast... and whenever she joined him for any meal he would get up and leave...

Sakshi just stared at him... tears rolling off her eyes...

Arjun jerks back to present state when the car halts at the airport..

Sammer fussed in taking the luggage and stuff while Arjun just walked... after all procedure as he settled on the seat of the airplane he once again resumed his thoughts...

One day Sakshi returned late from home... Arjun had retired to his room... hearing the click of her heels he got up and went out to speak to her... like if she had dinner... when he hears her speak... “Haan Karan.. haan ghar pohoch gayi... arrey abhi tune drop kiya na! Haan re... ghar main kuch hoga zaroor... khaa loongi... tu bhi khale... arrey...” her voice faded as she walked into the kitchen...

Arjun fisted his palm in anger... why should he bother about Sakshi... Karan is there right! And Sakshi almost forgot that she was married to Arjun... to him...

But had he heard the rest of what was spoken between them then he wouldn’t have ever come to this conclusion...

“Arrey Karan... aisa kuch nahi... mera pati hai khadoos... but you know... I love him a lot... and I am sure he does... haha... humare bachche! Haan... solid honge I swear... don’t worry... haan pakka you will be the Godfather... par I’ll only send my daughter to you... not my son... I don’t want him to be a flirt like you! Tuj jaisa maama milke humare bachche ka kya haalat hoga!” She sat on the counter and dangled her legs in the air...

Arjun had stepped into the hall hearing “humare bachche ka kya haalat hoga..” his steps froze... she had never talked to him about anything... and over here she and Karan thought about their kids?

It’s true that Arjun wanted time and space... but this wouldn’t mean that Sakshi would go closer to another guy... seeing Arjun she cut the call...

She immediately got down... “Arrey.. aap... jaag gaye kya...” she said..

“Sakshi.. neeche khade kyun hoyi? Upar beitho na... araam se baaton karo... main toh aaya tha sirf tumse baat karne ke liye if you had dinner or not...” he said stiffly..

Sakshi had a small smile on her face... just then he saw Arjun nearing her... “Arjun?” she asked puzzled...

“Kya kami hai mujh main Sakshi?” he asked her... his eyes locked with her...

“Arjun... kya...” she asked.. perplexed...

“Kyun... mujhse baat kyun nahi karti?” Arjun asked cupping her cheek...

“Arjun.. aisi baat nahi hai...” she said softly and closed her eyes in contact of his palm against her cheek...

“Toh kaisi baat hai?” He asked huskily... pinning her to the wall...

“Tum waqt chahte the...” Sakshi said... her eyes still closed...

“Main jo bhi chahta hoon tum woh karogi haan?” he asked... looking at her...

She nodded... he cupped her cheeks in his hands and brought his lips near hers... stroking her cheek he blew little bit of air on her lips... she clutched his hands tightly... he liked this... she should only feel for him...

Why? He didn’t have that answer.. or maybe he did...

Just as he was about to claim her lips her phone rang.. the name showed - Karan...

He sprang apart from her... fuming... “Baat karlo...” ha said...

Sakshi was puzzled... “Haan... kya? Hum abhi aa rahe hain...”

“Arjun... ETF office main attack hua hai...” Sakshi informed...

“Kya?” Arjun left with her...

“Sir... sir...” an air hostess called him...

“Yes.. sorry...” he excused himself...

“Sir.. would you like to have a cup of coffee or tea?” the air hostess said...

“T.. coffee...” he said and took the cup of coffee...

Sameer had dozed off... he was sitting in between Ayesha and Arjun...

“Sir...” Ayesha poked at a sleepy Sameer...  “Hmm...”

She signaled him to come close... he felt something when she placed her lips near his ears...  but what she said next shocked him... “Arjun sir took coffee... instead of tea... ” Sameer looked at Ayesha disbelievingly...

“Rawte...” Sameer called him...

“Haan Rathore...” Arjun answered...

Ayesha slapped her forehead... back to Rawte and Rathore!

“Tum aur coffee?” he asked...

“Kyun... main coffee nahi pee sakta?” Arjun asked...

“Tumhare aur Sakshi ke beech hua kya tha...” Sameer asked...

Arjun placed the cup down and thought what happened yesterday...

While walking on the corridor he had seen Sakshi laughing... in 3 years this was the first time he saw her laughing till there were almost tears in her eyes...

Unknowingly a smile hovered over his lips... but it faded seeing Karan there..

Then he realized... that Karan was the reason why she had started to smile... he... Arjun... he was the reason for her being silent and quiet..

He went into his cabin with a heavy heart... Sakshi deserved a guy like Karan... someone who would keep her happy... smiling... not like Arjun...

Arjun decided that he would ask for a divorce today... so as to Sakshi could go to Karan... he would leave late so as to Karan would drop Sakshi...

Yup... that is what he would do...

“What!” Ayesha and Sameer looked at him shocked!

“Ya.. she didn’t deserve a guy like me... you were right Rathore... she deserved a guy who could give her happiness... our lives were stagnant..” his words broke off...

“Phir Sakshi ne kya kaha?” Ayesha asked...

Sakshi was waiting for Arjun to come back... he looked distraught... the very thought that he would leave her... for her better future...

Then... that was the precise moment he realized that he had finally fallen for her... and if he did feel for her truly... then he should give her the life she deserved...

Dressed in a gray shirt and black leggings... she went around to get a glass of water for him...

“Woh... Sakshi...” he started.. his voice heavy...

“Haan...” she asked.. prodding him to go further...

“Sakshi... we need to talk...” he finally spilled out... and Sakshi froze in her stance...

3 years before when he said this... he told her that he couldn’t ever accept her... what would he say today?

Fear came in her eyes... Arjun just looked down...

“Kkya.. baat.. hai..” She asked... clutching the side of the sofa...

There was momentary silence...

“I guess.. it’s time.. ki ... we...” he said... finding words were becoming difficult...
Sakshi just stood... “I ... we... humain alag hona chahiye... a divorce...” he blurted out...

She looked at him.. her face seemed to have lost all color..

And when she slumped on the cold floor he realized... that he had made a big mistake...

“Sakshi..” he whispered and immediately went up to her and caught her...

“Kyun? Maine kya kiya Arjun... I didn’t do anything to hurt you... please...” she started sobbing...

“Sakshi this is the better option...” Arjun said looking away... her tears stabbed him with a knife...

As he was going to leave he found her clinging on his leg... “Sakshi!” he said shocked...

“Please mat choro mujhe... main marr javungi Arjun... I will die... trust me..” she howled and caught on to him...

Arjun picked up Sakshi... he was shocked by her reaction... “Kyun chahti hoon ki hum ek saath rahe... it’s a dead marriage Sakshi...” he said...

“I am fine with it Arjun.. main tumhare bina nahi reh sakti... kya maine kuch ghalat kiya Arjun... tell me... I do love you... and you know that.. but I don’t expect anything... ” she sobbed and he wiped her tears...

“Nahi... bilkul nahi... it’s that... you deserve a better life... with a guy like Karan...” Arjun mumbled to himself when he found Sakshi look at him... her face had become expressionless..

She parted from him and stood aside.. “Arjun... what did you just say...” she asked stiffly...

“Woh main...” Arjun started...

Sakshi threw the glass away... “Did you just say ki I should be with Karan?” she asked aghast...

“Woh...” Arjun started...

“HOW DARE YOU ARJUN!” She punched him... “kaise... yeh soch bhi kaise liya tumne?” she grabbed his collars...

“So isliye you made me and Karan go to the mission together? haan... you were setting me up with another guy?” she said... as if not believing her own words...

Arjun became quiet looking at her reaction.. “So tell me Mr. Rawte... what is your real reason to divorce me?” she asked coldly...

“Woh... I thought... after me... you and Karan... could like move on..” he couldn’t complete his sentence as she slapped him across his cheek...

He caught his cheek in disbelief...

“You ruthless man! Tumne yeh kaise soch liya?” she asked and placed her palm on her forehead... sobbing uncontrollably...

“Sa..”

“Not another word Arjun! Do you frigging know how much I love you Arjun! Zyaada kaam karne lagi taki roz tumhare saath ghar aa sakti hoon.. ghar waapas jab aate ho der se toh main koi report nahi likthi... I wait for you you idiot... aur khaana extra bacha retha hai kyunki I don’t eat until you have eaten... tumhare saath baat karne main darrti hoon ki kuch aisa na bol doon jiss pe gussa hoke chod do mujhe... you have made me vulnerable!” She screamed at him..

Arjun became numb after hearing her words.... he was an idiot...

“I LOVE YOU ARJUN... I SO BLO*DY DAMN LOVE YOU...” she shouted on top of her lungs...

“Tum zindagi ki pehli aur aakhri insaan ho jisse mujhe pyaar hua... jab tum Roshni ko nahi bhool sake how the hell did you think that I would forget you... I love everything about you... you get that... tumhara gussa se bhi pyaar hai mujhe... but you know what... I get it you don’t want me next to you... so FINE... it shall happen as decided...” She said..

Arjun sat on the floor listening to her... he had misjudged every action of hers... now as he saw from her perspective she did her best to hold on...

“Decided... matlab?” he asked...

She looked at him... “It’s true I love you... more than anything... but it does not mean that I will live here anymore...” she said coldly and ran into her room... picking up a small bag she shoved in a few clothes... went to Arjun’s room and took her certificates and details from the locker... picking up her wallet... she saw Arjun staring at the bracelet in her hand...

He had given it to her...

She looked at him back... “Sakshi.. no please..” he said softly and went towards her...

“Stand where you are.... paas bhi mat aana..” Sakshi told him... trembling as she cried...

“Tod diya tumne mujhe... day one se toh mujhe bahar chahte the... chalo yeh mano kaamna poori hui...” she said sarcastically... Arjun nodded his head no... he tried to hold her hand but she yanked it off... breaking that bracelet..

“How could you...” she sobbed against the pillar... Arjun felt powerless... helpless.. he gritted his teeth in anger as she stormed towards the main door... he wanted to stop her..

This all so went wrong...

But before he could stop her he started seeing double vision... and before he knew it... he heard her voice... and he blacked out...

Arjun completed and tears fell from his eyes... they reached Jammu and thus went out... his tears never stopped...

“I thought leaving her was the best option... she would get her perfect guy... but I didn’t realize that my silence killed her... I couldn’t recognize her love... however selfish I may sound... I am bringing her back to me... irrespective of consequences... let her hit me... punish me... kill me.. but she needs to know that I feel the same...” Arjun broke down and sat on the street of Srinagar...

“Hum kabhi apne dil ke baat seedha chehre pe kyun nahi bolte?” he cursed himself and hit his hand on his head...

Sameer and Ayesha stood stunned... they didn’t have any words to say...

Somehow his words implied to them as well... Ayesha signaled Sameer to go to Arjun... he squeezed her hand lightly and nodded...

“Arjun... come here brother...” Sameer said and hugged him tight... Arjun hugged him tightly...

Ayesha smiled a little...

“Arjun.. go and get her...” Sameer said..

Arjun nodded in happiness...

Mrs. Sakshi Arjun Rawte.. I am coming...

~*~

Arjun slowly got up... mumbling a small thanks to Sameer... Sameer just nodded... the cold vibes were not yet broken... but Sameer realized that maybe at this moment he needed him...

As Arjun reached the house his feet froze... he didn’t know what to do... he couldn’t feel he could face her...

“Kya baat hai Sir...” Ayesha asked...

“Ayesha... she doesn’t deserve a guy like me... I am afraid.. agar ussne mujhe reject kar diya toh main marr javunga... I want her to stay happy... mujhe kuch samaj main nahi aa raha hai...” Arjun confessed and sat on the same clearing where Sakshi had sat before...

“Arjun tu aisa kyun...” Sameer started to be stopped by Ayesha...

“Sir... don’t mind par aapne usse ab aisa bana diya ki shayad aapke siva koi aur usse handle bhi na kar paaen... and let me tell you one thing... Karan is a flirt... agreed... par woh humesha Sakshi ko apna choti behen maanta tha... point two... aapko darr lag raha hai ki Sakshi aapko reject kar de... can you then fathom Sakshi ki kya haalat hui hogi when she came to know about this sudden divorce... aur phirse aap wohi gaana ga rahe ho... she deserves a better man... aapko pata hai in this idiotic thinking of yours aapne Sakshi ko kisi ke layak nahi choda... tod diya usse...” Ayesha glared at Arjun then tugged Sameer’s arm...

“Chodo Sameer... yeh kya samjhega... Sakshi se pyaar hi nahi karta... God knows why peeche jaa raha hai!” Ayesha growled and held Sameer’s wrist and walked off...

Sameer tugged along when Arjun shouted “SHUT UP AYESHA!!!!”

“Kyun... maine kya ghalat kaha hoga... suddenly you must have realized ki there would be no one to serve you food nor iron your clothes... ya phir you might have been bored of her...” Ayesha was interrupted by Arjun...

“BAS! BOHOT HO GAYA!!!” Arjun barked...

“Main kuch na bolun toh tum bakti jao.. aur Sam... listen... I do need her more than anything in my life... har roz jab waapas aata hoon toh main bas ghar aake yeh hi dekhta hoon ki Sakshi kaha hai... aur woh jab chup chap beith ke report likhti hai toh I feel happy that she is safe... she is one of the very tangible reasons I am still alive.. uss ke haath ka khaana... just the exact amount.. however I would want it... jab main raat ko sota hoon toh mujhe pata chalta hai when she puts the blanket on me... bohot baar I felt like grabbing her hand and pulling her next to me... but I was scared... our relation was too fragile...” he blasted on her... his breath fanning in the cold air...

Seeing Arjun’s anger Sameer had cocooned Ayesha in his arms protectively... he was going to say something when Ayesha placed a finger on his lips...

“Acha... toh ab kyun jaa rahe ho tum uske paas? Haan... why... relation jab itna fragile hai...” Ayesha retorted...

“Because I was wrong... I admit it... shayad hum ek nayi shuruaat kar sakte hai... where I will give her every happiness of the world... shayad ussko mere paas laa sakta hoon... shayad jo baatein hum unkahi rakhte hai jab ek saath beith te hain... woh baatein keh sake... I notice every time she steals her glance towards me... every time she makes the tea for me... uski coffee main kitna amount of sugar aur milk chahiye yeh sab pata hai mujhe... it just took me a hell of a lot time to know this... but I want her back...” Arjun fumed and sat on the grass holding his head on his hand...

“Aur yeh sab kyun?” Ayesha asked...

Arjun flared up and stormed towards Ayesha but Sameer tightened his grip around her... “NO!” Sameer flared at Arjun as he kept Ayesha enveloped in his arms...

“Nahi... Ayesha ko bata doon why... samaj main nahi aata tum logo ko haan? It’s because I love her... damn... I LOVE HER... I LOVE SAKSHI...” Arjun cried out...

“Her relatives gave us a nasty glance once when I had picked up Sakshi in my arms and rushed towards the hospital so as to she can meet her father for the last time... the comments they gave us were horrible.....I promised her dad....” Arjun told them...

“SS...sak..” her father breathed through the mask... his eyes pointing towards Sakshi who was huddled near my chest... she had fallen asleep...

I clasped his hand... “Uncle... main Sakshi ka khayal rakhoonga... usse kuch nahi hone dunga... trust me...” I promised and her father smiled...

After an hour he passed away.... Sakshi controlled her tears in front of her family members... she refused to be dropped by me but I was adamant... I didn’t realize then why did I find it so necessary to be with her at the time of distress...

As she walked in her home it was filled with her relatives... her chachas and chachis... they had even brought their extended families along with them...

“Strange... mauth main aaye hai ya shadi main!” I thought looking at their bubbling excitement...

A lawyer was sitting in between... “Thank God Sakshi ma’am aap aa gayi hai... yeh sab keh rahe hai ki Anand Sahab ki 10 crore ki account aur 5 crore ki property in sab main bate jayenge?” he asked...

I frowned... oh yes... property and money... I realized well enough what they were here for...

“Nani..” Sakshi asked...

“Nahi.. sirf aapke do chacha aur chachi aur unke bhatije aaye hain...” The lawyer said...

“Iqbaal kaka... aap ko toh pata hai na ki papa kya chahte the... aur unke will main kya hai...” Sakshi told the lawyer..

“Haan.. chalo.. beith ke baat karte hai... arrey Arjun sir aap... mujhe.. umm aapse kuch baat karni hai...” the lawyer told me and we went in... everyone was shooting glances at us...

“Yeh ladka ho ga koi... Mumbai main akeli rehti hai.. pata nahi kis kis ke saath ghoomti hai..” once chachi spoke and I felt like boxing their face personally...

Suddenly their over love for Sakshi was suffocating... they cared for her... gave her condolences... and I saw the two young lads... one seemed to be the cousin of Sakshi.. and the other seemed to be the cousin of the cousin of Sakshi...

The 2nd guy tried to be over sympathetic with her... as if I didn’t understand the main reason...

“Sir... I am afraid ki shayad yeh log Sakshi beti ke saath... you know.. assets milaake she has around 25 crores more... yup.. a rich girl..” the lawyer said...

“Aap chinta na kijiye... I just know what to do..” I said...

Next day afternoon there was a small ceremony held.. I reached there early in the morning... as I looked at her I was shocked...

She was pale... wearing an off white saree... her eyes showed dark circles... she seemed to be crying... “Good Morning Sakshi..” I said softly..

She wiped her tears away... “Morning..” she whispered back...

“Kya hua...” I asked...

“Woh... kal raat..” she couldn’t complete and burst into tears as I engulfed her into a tight hug...

I slowly made her sit next to me... rubbing her cheeks I consoled her when her relatives came in... they started throwing disgusting looks at us... but I didn’t care a damn...

The pandit came and started the small rituals...

As she sat.. Vishal (the over sympathetic guy) sat really close to her and often touched her hands... her waist... her shoulder...

Sakshi shifted uncomfortably... she got up and went to a room... I noticed that her some Chacha, Chachi and Vishal followed...

I on behalf of her paid the pandit and slowly everyone left... I silently went towards the room... to see only chacha chachi... Sakshi and Vishal were no where in sight...

“Kaha hai Sakshi?” I asked....

“Uske hone waali pati ke saath... tume kya?” her chacha answered....

I grabbed his neck “The last time...WHERE IS SHE?” I growled...

Chachi had become scared... “Oye gunda... hatto.. main police...”
I threw the Chacha away and looked at Chachi “Really kisko bulaogi...”

When I heard Sakshi’s scream..

I turned towards the locked bathroom...

“SAKSHI!” I screamed...

“ARJUN..” She screamed back....

Chacha and Chachi cowered in fear... I banged open the door to find the lights off... I switched it on and the sight in front shocked me...

The shower was on... Vishal and Sakshi were in the corner... a part of her blouse was torn... her saree was thrown away...

I grabbed Vishal with his hair and banged his head on the wall... blood spurted out...

I threw him on the floor... kicking him... “How dare you touch her!” I barked at him...

I picked up the entire table and crashed it on him... he groaned in pain but I didn’t stop fighting him...

Suddenly police members came in... “Ab niklo... yeh admi mere bhanji ko forcefully  rape karna chah raha tha... mere saleh sahab Vishal usse bachane gaya tha aur dekho kya haalat ho rahi hai... arrest karlo isse...” Chacha told the chief...

And the minute the chief looked at me I nodded at him... he sent a woman police to check the washroom... the other police took the half dead Vishal with him...

“Arrey yeh...” Before Chacha could complete I slapped him...

“Main hoon Arjun Suryakant Rawte... the Assistant Commissioner of Police!” I barked at him...

Their faces paled.... grabbing his shoulder I told him to speak up... “Woh... Sakshi agar Vishal se shadi karta phir saare property Vishal ka jo hum teen baat lete...” he said...

I clenched my teeth and slapped the Chacha again....

When I heard a sob on the door... Sakshi was standing near the washroom door... she had tried to wear the torn white saree... but it was almost invisible... she clutched a side of her blouse...

I just went up to her... I caught her cheek and wiped out the bleeding corner of her mouth... she hugged me tight and burst into tears...

I removed my kurta and gave it to her to wear it...

She slipped into that... controlling her sobs... she clutched my vest tight... I felt her body going loose...

I picked her up in my arms... “Sakshi... get up...” I ordered her and sat on the couch... patting her cheeks... she slowly comes to consciousness...

By then everyone gets collected into the room... seeing me in just a vest and Sakshi in my kurta everyone looks at me suspiciously...

The chief gives me a salute and leaves the room... I can understand what happens... Sakshi is flustered... she doesn’t know what to do...

The lawyer uncle too was flustered... he didn’t know how to handle the gossip mongers...

When one of them asked me... with a sarcastic look... “Lagte kya ho Sakshi ke?”

When one of the ladies asked... “Aise behave kar rahe hai jaise pati hai...” she sneered... “Yeh woh ACP lagta hai na...”

I held Sakshi close to me... her big eyes looked into mine... I wiped the tears away.. clutching her tighter I said...

“Ji.. main hoon ACP Arjun Suryakant Rawte... aur...” I said to find them all looking at me...

I pressed Sakshi’s hand tightly... I looked into her eyes again for a brief moment....

“Aur?” Someone asked...

“Sakshi ka Mangetar...” I completed...

“Toh aise hui mere aur Sakshi ka Shadi... I didn’t intend on marrying her... maine socha ki waqt ke saath sab bhool jayenge... par phir lawyer uncle ne pressure diya and so did the other family members... tab Sakshi ke liye concern tha par yeh nahi ki shadi kar beithoon... par pressure aur woh sab ki wajeh se main Sakshi se shaadi kar liya... par...” I paused for a minute...

“Tab pata nahi tha par ab pata hai... it’s just that I was scared... darr ta tha.... ki kya sach hai ya nahi... par haan.. ab I know.. I may not be the best for her... but I will be with her...there are many chances ki maybe the relation could have succeeded... if I had tried hard enough...” I said...

“Toh yehi baat Sakshi ko kyun nahi batate?” Ayesha retorted...

Sameer looked at Ayesha and realized the main motto for pushing Arjun to this end... so as to he gives up the feeling of guilt and accepts the fact that he loves her...

Arjun looked at Ayesha... a flutter of emotions went across his face... he half smiled... “Thank you Ayesha...” he muttered...

His face had an added glow now... he got up and looked at the house...

“You do know that Sakshi loves you a lot....” Ayesha said...

“Hmm...” He nodded... but one could see the slight smile lingering on his lips...

“Waise Sameer... main Ayesha ko maarne nahi waala... tu usse apne baho se chod sakta hai...” Arjun smirked and walked towards the house...

Sameer and Ayesha parted.. their faces were red in embarrassment... “Woh.. woh..”

Sameer scratched his head while Ayesha shuffled her feet...

We slowly walked towards the door... Arjun took a deep breath... the two minutes felt like twenty years to us...

When slowly the door opened... we saw an old woman... the splitting image of Sakshi stand before us...

“Nani...” Arjun said softly and bent down to take her blessings... she just nodded.. her hand caressed his hair...

“Arjun bete...” she adjusted her glasses... “Aao... andar aao...” she said softly... “Ayesha beti.. tum bhi aao.. aur Sameer beta... apna ghar samjho...” she spoke...

Sameer and Ayesha were surprised by the simple beauty of the house... it was soft... rustic... beautiful...  it gave an essence that Sakshi lived her... and her grandmother... even though they had met during the wedding.. now did they get to see the actual place from where Sakshi got her upbringing...

The trio looked at house... and the walls were filled with Sakshi’s pictures... “Itne saare Sakshi ki pictures...” Sameer smiled...

“Woh.. Abhi... Sakshi ke nanu.. unhe photo lene ka bohot shauk tha... aur Tikli... yaani Sakshi ki photo pose karne ka bohot shauk tha...” Her Nani smiled... probably recalling the fond memories...

“Waise bete.. aap dono toh coffee lenge na... aur Arjun beta... chai main kitna cheeni doon..” She said and walked towards kitchen...

“Nahi Nani... in sab ki koi zaroorat nahi... mujhe aap se baat karni hai.. please...” Arjun caught her hand...

“Baat toh mujhe bhi karni hai bete... par pehle chai...” Nani said...

“Aunty... aap difficulty kyun le rahi hai... main chai aur coffee banati hoon... aap Arjun sir se baat kijiye...” Ayesha said and walked towards the kitchen...

Nani smiled and sat on the sofa... Arjun sat on the other side and Sameer sat next to him...

“Sakshi yaha hai...” Arjun asked... his fingers clutched tightly...

“Agar na hoti toh tum yaha naa ate na beta...” her Nani answered...

Arjun nodded... “Nani... woh main.. Sakshi se mil sakta hoon...” he asked softly...

Her Nani took a deep breath... she looked here and there uncomfortably...

Ayesha came back with the tea and coffee cups... she served a black tea to Nani...

Nani nodded “Ayesha beti tumhe kaise pata ki humain kaali chai...” she asked then smiled... “Haan.. policewali ho... yeh toh pata chalega...” she said...

Ayesha sat next to Nani...

Nani sighed and looked at Arjun who was waiting for an answer...

“Beta... ek baat poochu...” Nani asked...

“Haan... boliye na..” Arjun said...

“Sakshi ko kyun choda... naa. usne kuch nahi kaha... baat kya hai?” Nani asked.. “Aur haan... mujhse chupane ki zaroorat nahi.. seedhe seedhe bol do ki kya hua... I would appreciate the truth...” she said sternly...

“Woh... Nani.. hua yun ke...” Arjun described the entire course of marriage between him and Sakshi...

At some point even Ayesha and Sameer were shocked by the stagnant relation of Arjun and Sakshi...

After everything was over Nani got up and walked towards the garden...

Well she had every right to be upset... he had mistreated her daughter... Nani’s eyes were full of tears... she sat on a wicker chair took out her purse and from there an old photo of a young man... she caught it near her heart and let the few tears fall...

Arjun sighed... he knew he had committed a grave error... he closed his eyes... wiping off his tears he walked to her Nani...

Sameer was going to go but Ayesha held his hand... “Nahi Sir... ab nahi... let him go and deal...” Ayesha said...

“Sakshi ne ek baar ehsaas bhi nahi dilaya that there are so many issues with her marriage...” Sameer said..

“Hmm... pata nahi yeh mard kabhi apni dil ki baat bolte kyun nahi..” Ayesha said angrily to find her eyes locked with Sameer’s...

At the garden...

“Abhi... mujhe yeh hi darr tha... pata nahi...aap mere saath...” her Nani stopped to find something warm near her feet...

Arjun was on his knees... his hands rested on her knees.. he had his head down and he seemed to be crying...

“Arjun bete... kyun waapas aaye ho...” Nani asked... patting his head slowly...

‘Nani.. please... I swear main Sakshi ko khush rakhoonga...” Arjun promised...

“Beta... baat khush rakhne ki na hi tha na hai... baat yeh hai ki tum dono ki beech koi communication nahi hai... usse waapas le javoge... par kya araam se baat karna shuru kar doge? Apne zindagi main iss rishte ko kaise aage badhaoge?” Nani asked...

Arjun was in thoughts.. it’s true he wanted to take her back... but he never thought about life after that...

“Dekho bete... pyaar... sirf bahe milake ya haath pakadne se nahi hota... pyaar woh hota hai ki agar koi chup rahe toh uske paas beith ke uski kaaran jaanoge... pyaar yeh hai ki chuppi main bhi saare baat bol jaye... pyaar yeh hai ki ek dusre ko ehsaas dilana ki woh uske jeevan main kya maine rakhta hai... yeh sab kar pavoge beta?” Nani asked...

Arjun was in a loss of words...

He looked at Nani and before he could say anything she asked...

“Beta.. tum samaj sakte ho ki jab Tikli tumhai chup chap dekhti hai.. ya phir usske cup main kitna dood aur cheeni hota hai... ya phir kab woh apne baal ko apne kaan ke peeche rakhte hai... hai na?” Nani asked... Arjun nodded...

Nani wiped the tears of Arjun softly “Par beta... kya tumne usse ehsaas dilaaya ki tum sab samaj sakte ho?”

Arjun nodded no...

“Beta... tere Nanu aur meri shadi na arranged marriage thi... woh mujhse pyaar karte the... par mujhe pata nahi chala... shadi ke do mahine baad... tere Nanu aise behave karte the.. jisse mujhe shak hua... jaise jab main chai banati thi unke liye toh woh mujhe dekhta tha... phir jab main mud ke dekh ti toh woh purposely kuch aisa karta tha jaise woh mujhe yeh feeling de sake ki woh na jaane ki woh humain dekh rahi hoon... jab ki woh chahte the ki mujhe pata chale ki woh humare liye kuch ehsaas karte the...” Nani said... her deep brown eyes holding a far away look...

Arjun looked into her eyes and understood the depth of what she meant...

“I know beta ki Roshni ko bhoolna aam baat nahi... aur yeh bhi jaanti hoon ki ab tum Tikli se mohabbat karne lage ho... aur yeh bhi maloom ki tum baat nahi kar sakte... dikkat hoti hai na apne aap ko kholne main... kyun...” Nani asked...

Arjun held the edge of her pallu like a small boy and fiddled with it... “Darr...” he said...

Nani caressed his head and told him... “Beta... Tikli tumse itni pyaar karti hai ki agar tum mote, batsoorat bhi hote na... tab bhi utni hi pyaar karti... aur woh tumhain kabhi nahi chodegi... dard iss baat ka hai ki tumne usse kisi aur ke saath shadi karwana chaha... apna dil khol do uske saamne... tab shayad baat sudhre...” Nani sighed...

Holding her soft hands which hand slight wrinkles of her age he spoke “Bohot pyaar karta hoon usse... itna ki... apna jaan bhi de doon uske liye... ghalat tha main Nani... ghlat... iske baad cheezein sirf uske mutabik hogi... agar woh mujhe waapas apnana chahe toh wohi hoga... main uska saath kabhi nahi chodunga... bas ek baar mujhe apni Sakshi se milne dijiye.. please Nani... mm..main...aa..aur... jj..jee nahi ... pavunga...” he broke into sobs... even Nani started crying....

In the living room...

“Isme gussi ki baat kya hai... hum logo ko shayad darr lagta ho ki agar jiss se hum mohabat karte hai usne inkaar kar diya toh...” Sameer reasoned...

“Acha... yeh dar kisi aur cheez ke liye kyun nahi... encounter ki samay toh full on action se jaate ho tum log...” Ayesha flared...

“Kyunki woh dimaag se kiya jaata... par pyaar... woh toh dil se... ek baar de diye... aur agar toot gaya... toh usse jodne main waqt lagta hai...” Sameer said...

“Aur jo pyaar ek ladki ki aankhon main jhalakti hai... woh koi dekh nahi sakta kya?” Ayesha told...

Sameer held Ayesha’s hand and looked into her eyes... “Ayesha... why are we discussing this?” he said softly...

Ayesha realized her slip and looked down... “Maybe for the reason you protected me from Arjun’s anger...” she said softly and got up... “Main.. kitchen main...” she said...

Sameer let go... “Main kuch na bolkar Arjun ki ghalti toh nahi kar raha hoon na...” he thought...

As Ayesha walked into the kitchen... “Main inn chote chote signals ko ignore karke Sakshi jaisi ghalti toh nahi kar rahi hoon na?”

In the bedroom

After God knows when Sakshi stirred... her eyes felt drowsy... God when did she sleep so soundly... as she tried to move she understood where she was... her room...

In her home.. Nani’s home... that’s why she felt at peace... few more tears fell from her eyes... she turned aside to sleep... to see something... someone looking at her intently...

There was only one person in the world who would cross his arms across his chest and look at her silently...

----------

Arjun gently entered the room... his eyes were dying out of anticipation to see his wife... his Sakshi... as he bent the door and crept in... there she lay... curled up in a fetal position... sobbing slightly... every sob of hers he felt his heart tugging on... she was never this... he had to get her back...

O laagi tum se man ki lagan
Lagan laagi tum se man ki lagan
Lagan laagi tum se man ki lagan
Lagan laagi tum se man ki lagan

Gali gali ghume dil tujhe dhundhe,
Gali gali ghume dil tujhe dhundhe , tere bin tarase nayan

Lagan laagi tum se man ki lagan
Lagan laagi tum se man ki lagan
Lagan laagi tum se man ki lagan
Lagan laagi tum se man ki lagan

He decided that for the rest of his life he wanted to see her... every morning he wanted it to start by her face... every night he wanted it to end with her touch... he closed his eyes... he didn’t feel guilty for not giving her a happy life now... he felt guilty for not loving her enough... for not opening his heart before... his heart stopped for a moment as he thought... would his Sakshi come back to him?

Aa ja o meri jaan, mere dil ka jahaan
Maange teri khabar, dhundhe tera nishaan

Lagan laagi tum se man ki lagan
Lagan laagi tum se man ki lagan
Lagan laagi tum se man ki lagan

Gali gali ghume dil tujhe dhundhe,
Gali gali ghume dil tujhe dhundhe , tere bin tarase nayan

Lagan laagi tum se man ki lagan
Lagan laagi tum se man ki lagan
Lagan laagi tum se man ki lagan

As he crept slowly inside and rested his head on the wall... he noticed her closely... her hair shuffled open... her shirt... it seemed too big... he frowned and he went closer to her... his eyes widened looking at the fact that she was wearing his shirt.... his mouth soured as every second proved how much she loved him... if only now he could say... that he loves her too... he could do anything to prove it to her... but he knew that she needed neither of that... she just needed those three words... he just looked back... without her his life seemed empty... his mind seemed restless... he never knew that just few hours separation with the thought of having lost her forever would made him realize that how much she had silently become a part of his life....

Tera tujhako saunp de... kya laagat hai mor
Mera mujhamen kuchh naaheen jo hovat so tor
Tere bin mera man, jaise ban me hiran

Lagan laagi tum se man ki lagan
Lagan laagi tum se man ki lagan
Lagan laagi tum se man ki lagan

As he hear her slight muffled sobs as she slept.. he clenched his hand into a fist.... she still mumbled his name in her sleep... as she twisted further in her sleep he looked at the intricate details of her face... her puffy beautiful eyes... her perky red nose... her soft cheeks... her delicious pouty lips... his gaze turned to her soft straight silky hair... he felt like running his hands through them... but the tears still stained her cheeks... it took his every resolve in not taking her up his arms an kissing her senseless.. till she believes that she is only his... rather he is only hers...

He stiffened as she moved... her eyelashes fluttered... her eyes slowly opened and she turned to face him completely... her gaze were empty and unfocused for a second... then it flooded with recognition...

She stared at the man in front... his intent dark orbs... every fibre of her body jumped in sensation... her heart started pounding...

All by just seeing him...

Phir le aaya dil majboor kya keeje
Raas na aaya rehna door kya keeje

She stood up clumsily... she walked up to him... the emotions in his otherwise stoic face confused her... as she raised her palm to cup his stubbled cheek she remembered everything he did... she stepped back... turning her back to him... he looked at her.. hurt... a tear fell from his face... unknown to him Sakshi had clutched her palm near her heart... and a tear fell from her face.... their hearts pounded in seeing each other...

Dil keh raha use maqammal kar bhi aao
Wo jo adhoori si baat baaki hai

“Kyun aaye ho?” she asked him... still not facing him...

“Ek baar mujhe dekhoge nahi Sakshi?” Arjun asked... tears falling...

“Mera naam mat lo Arjun!” she barked at him... “Koi haq nahi banta tumhara..” she said bitterly... but every memory flooded in her mind of them... even though it was nothing about them being in love.. but for her it was...

Wo Jo Adhoori Si Yaad Baaki Hai
Wo Jo Adhoori Si Yaad Baaki Hai

“Kyun nahi hai haq... pati hoon tumhara!” Arjun retorted...

“Aisa kaunsa pati jo apni biwi ko kisi aur ke saat vyah karwana chahe!” Sakshi sobbed...

Karte Hain Hum Aaj Qabool Kya Keeje
Ho Gayi Thi Jo Humse Bhool Kya Keeje

“Kya tumne kabhi mujhe dekha Arjun... kya inn 3 saal main was I even merely existant in your life... maine kabhi kuch nahi manga... bas... tumhare saath rehna chaha... itni badi sazaa dogi mujhe iss ke liye huh?” Sakshi spoke while trying to control her tears...

“Sakshi... aisa baat nahi hai... main koi sazaa nahi de raha hoon tumhe... main bas...” Arjun said...

Dil Keh Raha Use Mayassar Kar Bhi Aao

Sakshi showed her hand to Arjun... “Mujhe kuch nahi sunna... jao yaha se... jee bhar ke apna zindagi jee lo... aur mujhe chain se marr ne do...” she added softly...

Before Sakshi could say anything further she found herself to be twirled and crashed into Arjun’s chest... “Kya kaha tumne... marr ne do hah?” He glared at her... her skin burned on getting close to him... every nerve in his body throbbed today....

Wo Jo Dabi Si Aas Baaki Hai
Wo Jo Dabi Si Aanch Baaki Hai
Wo Jo Dabi Si Aanch Baaki Hai
Wo Jo Dabi Si... Aanch Baaki Hai

She looked away.. “Jao... main tumhe nahi dekhna chahti...” she closed her eyes and weeped...

“Acha... aur jo khoon nikal raha hai woh bhi nahi dekhna chahti..” he told her...

Sakshi immediately opened her eyes and looked into his face... she rand her palms through his stubbled face... “Jhoot!” she flared... but her eyes were locked to his...

“Nahi... khoon nikal raha hai Sakshi... yaha pe..” he said softly and placed her palm on his heart...

More tears flowed from her pretty eyes... “Kyun waapas chahte ho mujhe?” she asked...

He pulled her petite framed right against his hard one... resting his head on hers he said.. “Samaj nahi aaya Sakshi...” he whispered...

Kismat Ko Hai Yeh Manzoor Kya Keeje
Milte Rahe Hum Badastoor Kya Keeje

“Arjun... I didn’t know the marriage was forced.. and I don’t want any sympathy.. I was just a person living in your home... main itni buri thi kya jo tum ek baar baat bhi nahi karna chahte the?” Sakshi said slowly... refusing.. almost scared to read what was in his eyes...

“Sakshi... agar mujhe sach main yeh forced lagta toh main shadi nahi karta... I am that adamant and you know that...” Arjun chinned her and spoke...

Dil Keh Raha Hai Use Musalsal Kar Bhi Aao

“Tum buri nahi ho Sakshi... main ghalat tha... baat... I don’t know... I do feel for you...” Arjun said softly... “I don’t think I can live without you...” he murmured and angled her face towards his face...

The minute Sakshi heard the last line she pushed Arjun away and walked on the other side... “Acha... tum mere siva nahi jee sakte toh tum mujhe waapas bula rahe ho... aur maine jab tumhara per pakda taaki tum mujhe na chodo... tab... divorce dene ka bohot shauq tha na! It’s always you Arjun... always you... tum feel karo mujhe farak nahi padta... aur main tumhare liye bilkul feel nahi karti get that!” She growled at him.. hugging herself tighter...

Wo Jo Ruki Si Raah Baaki Hai
Wo Jo Ruki Si Chaah Baaki Hai

Unaware her pounding heart was speaking on the exact contrary...

Arjun smiled faintly... of course... Mrs.Rawte itne jaldi thodi na maanti...

He walked towards Sakshi and held her shoulder... she immediately shrugged it off...

“Agar farak nahi padta toh mera shirt pehenke kyun ghoom rahi ho...” he asked...

Sakshi removed his shirt and thumped it on his hand... “Lo tumhara shirt... wait..” she took it back... “Yeh dhone ke baad waapas deti hoon..” she muttered but he held on to the shirt...

“I want this shirt like this...” he said and buried his face into the shirt...

Sakshi was confused... she dare say that he almost reacted as if he lov...

Wo Jo Ruki Si Chaah Baaki Hai
Wo Jo Ruki Si Chaah Baaki Hai..

She sat on the bed exhausted... “You must be feeling guilty na that you treated me like this hence you wanna give this marriage a shot... chod do Arjun... jo feel nahi karte woh dikhaane ke zaroorat nahi..” she said faintly to find Arjun crawl up to her...

“Arj..” she started to find herself shushed...

He pinned her beneath him and stared into her eyes... “Leave me... tum pyaar nehi karte mujhse... leave me... I hate you.. and love you ki hate bhi na kar paavun.. tum bohot bure ho...” she started crying and punched him on his chest...

“Ah!” he groaned and held his chest...

Sakshi looked worriedly and rubbed his chest... he caught her hand firmly...

“You hate me... toh yeh kya hai? Mere dard se tumhe farak kyun parta hai.. aur main bura hoon... theek hai... so toh hoon... gadha bhi hoon ki samaj ke bhi samaj nahi paya...” he said...

Shikaayatein mitaane lagee
Subah bedaag hai, subah bedaag hai

Sakshi stopped struggling under him... she looked into his moistened eyes...

“Bas mere kuch sawaal ke jawaab de do... phir main chala javunga... humesha ke liye...” he said...

Sakshi looked at him... her eyes were swelled with tears...

“First thing... Karan ke saath tum khush dikhte the.. you used to laugh.. smile.. mere saath humesha gumsum... par usse dekh ke tumhara shakal khil khilane lagti thi...” he said caressing her soft cheek...

Jo barf ko galaane lagee
Kahin to aag hai, kahin to aag hai

“Haan toh circus main joker ko dekh ke bhi khush rehti hoon... toh joker se bhi shadi karwado na!” She said angrily...

He rubbed her forehead but she looked away.. breathing heavily... the close contact was driving her crazy...

“Aur main chahta tha ki tum khush raho Sakshi.. I wanted you to be happy... you deserved a better life... achcha... ab meri taraf dekho... koi movie ka hero heroine ke liye apne pyaar kyun sacrifice karta hai?” he asked...

Naa udne ki is dafaa thaami
Parindo ne bhi wafaa jaani

“Kyunki woh usse mohab...” Sakshi looked into his eyes... her sentence remained incomplete... she looked in disbelief...

“Aur tumhe lagta hai ki without you I will be happy... ghar se kya nikal gayi bina baat sunke dekho... main ghar main beithke to bada ash kar raha hoon na... marr javunga tumhare bina...” his voice cracked...

Andhere ko baahon mein le ke
Ujaale ne ghar basaayaa hai

Sakshi sighed.. tears spilled from her eyes...

“Par main toh ghar main non existant...” she said softly...

Churaayaa tha jo chukaayaa hai

“Non existant? Are you crazy? Coffee 3 chamach with dood 1 and 1/2th chamach with 2 tablets of sweetner... that too Sugarfree gold... roz din tum red color hairbrush ke liye dhoond te ho par black brush se hi baal banate ho... you roll a lock of hair on your left ring finger and then put it behind your ear with your index finger... jab bhi you take bath tum bahar do teen baar dekhte ho ki main kamre main hoon ya nahi... aur phir jab hum khana khaate hai tum 5 baar definitely mere taraf dekhte ho... aur phir apne aap gaal laal ho jate hai... aur phir...” he saw her face turning into a bright shade of crimson... her tears had stopped and she was staring at him...

Shikaytein mitaane lagi
Subah bedaag hai, subah bedag hai
Jo barf ko galaane lagi
Kaheen to aag hai, kaheen to aag hai..

“Aur jab mera chai main khatam nahi karta aur table main rakh deta hoon... tum chupke se usse pee jate ho...” he whispered...

She looked at him in wonder.. she didn’t know whether to smile... or to start crying out of happiness...

“Uss din jab main raat main aayi itna gussa...” she asked softly...

Ek jeet tu hai, ek haar main hoon
Haar jeet jode jo taar main hoon
Ek jeet tu hai, ek haar main hoon

“You want me to spell it out Sakshi... why was I angry... especially on Karan’s call.. tell me...” he said... locking his hands with hers...

Bataaye bin galtiyaan ginaaye

Sakshi’s breath hitched... “Jealous..” she blurted out...

“And mujhe jealousy kyun ayega...” he prodded...

Sitaare jab bhi sada sunayein

Sakshi looked into his eyes....

Cupping her face... “Sakshi... I may have spoken more than what I have in the past 5 years of my life... but there is a common reason why I know everything about you.. why I notice everything about you.. why I get jealous...” he said... he didn’t know when did tears start coming out of his eyes...

Luteron ko baaghbaan banayein

She gently wiped his tears away... hers spilled away continuously.. “Toh mujhe roka kyun nahi?” she asked... her voice breaking...

“I wanted to Sakshi... but I had blacked out and was straight on the floor...” Arjun answered...

Sakshi looked at him shocked... she immediately cupped his face..”Kya? Kyun?” she rubbed her palm across his cheek... his eyes closed in the warm contact...

Naseebon ki baat hai, naseebon ki baat hai..

He looked into her eyes.. this was the moment... kissing the hand that cupped his cheek he took a deep breath...

“I love you..” he said...

Zameer ki kahaani hai yeh
Yehi bairaag hai, yehi bairaag hai..

Sakshi stiffened...

Her eyes darted to him... “t..tt..tum..” she stammered...

“I love you Sakshi... more than any..” his voice stopped as she broke into a cry... she buried her face in the crook of his neck and led out her heart... she howled for a long time...

“Arjun... I... I.. never thought ki tum bhi...” she sobbed and hugged him tight...

Arjun let his tears fall and hugged her back tightly...

Shikaayatein mitaane lagee..

“I d...dd..din’t think ki tum...” she sobbed... he quietly held her near him...

“Kyun nahi Sakshi... agar yeh pyaar nahi toh aur kya?” Arjun asked...

She looked at him gratefully... grateful on her fate... on her destiny... on him... he had hurt her.. but every word of his healed every pain in her heart...

He kissed her hair fondly... “No.. don’t be grateful to me.. I am grateful to you Sakshi...” he caressed her forehead... no more words were now required....

They stayed together in their arms... for as long as they could...

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Ayesha quietly strolled about in the kitchen.. picking the utensils... then keeping it back...

Sameer’s gaze followed her... he didn’t want to make the mistake like Arjun.. but what if she rejects him?

“Tab bete usse patane main lag jao...” A voice said from behind..

Sameer jerked back to see Nani smiling at him...

“Aa..aap... mujhe koi baat samaj nahi aaya...” Sameer scratched his head...

“Toh apne Damaad se samjhaye kya...” Nani smirked...

“Aap gussa thi na uske upar...” Sameer said...

“Beta... tha toh zaroor... par ab nahi... joh darr tha woh nikal gaya... usske aankhon main main yahi pyaar saamne dekhna chahti thi... ab toh dono shayad kal se pehle kamre se nahi niklenge!” Nani chuckled...

Sameer turned red as the meaning dawned on him...

Nani shook her head negatively... “Sameer bete.. agar tum aise sharmaoge toh Ayesha ka kya hoga...” she sighed dramatically...

Sameer’s eyes turned round... “Arrey Nani... kya keh ...” Nani raised a hand to stop him...

“Beta... yeh safed baal sirf tumhare Nanu ko dekh ke nahi hue...” she smiled...

Sameer sat down foolishly...

“Kya itna obvious hai...” he said softly...

“Tumhare aur Ayesha ke sevai sab logo ko pata chal chuka hai ki tum dono ek doosre se mohabbat karte ho...” she laughed...

Sameer looked away in embarrassment...

Nani sat next to him... “Dekho beta.. ab joh main kehne jaa rahi hoon dhyaan se suno... ladkiya pehle kadam nahi rakhti... not because she is not strong... but rather because of the fact that she wants to feel comforted... chote chote cheezein jo tumhari yeh nazre notice karte hai... zubaan pe bhi leke ao... she gives up her everything to be with you... kya bas tum khulke usse pyaar nahi kar sakte... aur Arjun ki tarha sirf pyaar karna nahi... par usse nibhaana... baatein karna... ek dusre ko jaan na... chahein jo bhi baat ho... uska haath pakad ke rakho... and the bigger thing... let her know that you have held her hand...” she fondly ruffled Sameer’s hair...

“Chalo.. main kuch khaana tayyar karti hoon... lagta hai ki aaj mere chaar bachcho mere saath rahenge... aur na mat karna... ab jao jake chup chap beitho...” Nani smiled...

Sameer marveled at the way at one point the woman was jovial and at the next minute... sombre... truly...

“Aap sach main Sakshi ki hi Nani hai!” Sameer smiled...

Nani laughed and went to the kitchen to find Ayesha lost...

“Arrey Ayesha beti.. kya hua?” Nani asked as her experienced hands started making the special dal makhni for them..

“Kuch nahi Nani... kuch madat karoon?” Ayesha asked...

“Haan... woh atta aur cheese aur thoda sa tel...woh soch rahi hoon cheese pakoda banau...” Nani said and started boiling the dal...

Nani sat patiently on a stool next to the dal when Ayesha brought in the items... “Lo.. hmm cheese pakoda excellent Idea! Arrey Nani... dal ban chuki hai... aap stove band kar do...” Ayesha said...

“Nahi... abhi tak poora dhua nahi nikla main nahi nikaalne waali...” Nani said...

“Par Nani khushboo mehak rahi hai... agar dhua ke liye intezaar kare toh jal sakta hai dal...” Ayesha reasoned and then herself took the dal away...

“Par Ayesha kyun side main le liya? Maine toh dhua nahi dekhi...”  Nani asked pouting...

Ayesha giggled “Nani... aap sach main Sakshi ki hi Nani hai! Aur rahi baat dak ki... sirf dhua dekh ke jaanch thori na kar sakte hai.. khushboo aur rang... isse bhi farak part hai na... humesha dhua ke liye intezaar karoge toh jal jayega dal!”

“Toh yehi baat zindagi main kyun nahi daalte?” Nani asked... wiping her glasses...

“Matlab?” Ayesha asked...

“Tum intezaar kar rahi ho ki woh kuch bole... tum woh khaas pal apne dimaag main nahi leti ki shayad woh unkahi baat keh chuka ho... agar zyaada intezaar kiya... toh dal jal sakta hai na... Sakshi jaisi ghalti kyun kar rahi ho? Arjun ke jealousy dekhne ke baad bhi pagli ko kuch samaj main nahi aayi...aur tum ho ke daal ke bare main kafi kuch jaante ho... par zindagi main woh chote chote signals miss kar deti ho... Just think about it...” Nani said softly and started baking the Naan’s...

“Aap sach main Sakshi ki hi Nani hai...” Ayesha thought...

Ayesha walked into the garden confused...

And then she smiled.. “Kya baat hai Nani... dal se pura haal hi badal diya!” to see Sameer sitting on the bench...

He was looking at something on the phone... on seeing Ayesha he immediately put it aside...

“Umm.. main beithoon...” she asked...

“Sure!” Sameer smiled and let her sit next to him... and then his heart started a marathon...

And for Ayesha her heart hammered against her chest... “Nice weather....” she said...

“Idiot.. yehi baat aayi!” She scolded herself in her mind...

Maan Yeh Saheb Ji
Jan Hai Sab Ji
Phir Bhi Banaye Bahane

“Yup... bohot acha... actually Sakshi and Arjun should stay back idhar.. to complete their honeymoon...” Sameer chuckled and found Ayesha averting her eyes with the mention of honeymoon!

“Stupid! Bol... AYESHA I LOVE YOU!” His mind shouted at him...

“Fine!” he shouted out to see Ayesha staring at him... “Umm... woh actually I was thinking something... sorry...” he muttered...

“Sameer I have to tell you something...” Ayesha said... gathering up every courage she has...

Naina Nawabi Ji
Dekhe Hai Sab Ji
Phir Bhi Na Samjhe Ishare

“Wah yehi baki tha... arrey bol apne dil ke baat!” Sameer’s mind berated him..

“Sameer tum dal ho...” Ayesha blurted out... what.. WHAT DAL!!!

Maaan Yeh Saheb Ji
Haan Karta Bahane
Naina Nawabi Ji

“ I mean sorry... matlab... oh sh*t.. tum kuch bolo.. don’t be silent.. I am freaked out...” Ayesha said...

“Ab toh bol be... bol... bol... BOL!!!” His mind shouted at him...

Dheere Dhere Naino Ko Dhere Dhere
Jiya Ko Dheere Dhere Bhayo Re Saibo

Dheere Dheere Baiga Dheere Dhere Apna Sa Dheere Dheere
Laage Se Saibo

But Sameer shifted closer to Ayesha and gently tucked a strand of hair away... “Bolta toh zaroor par kya bolun... yeh hi ki jab meri daring cop main yeh feminity dikhti hai toh kuch hota hai... ki jab she is ready to face any wrath to make someone else realize their feeling toh kuch hota hai... ki jab woh apni coffee brown aankhein lege kisiko ghurti hai toh kuch hota hai.. ki jab she fumbles with her speech toh kuch hota hai... ki jab woh bewaja utt patang cheezein karti hai aur mujhe darr lagta hai... tab bhi kuch hota hai... kya bolun main Ayesha... kya...” he said softly...

Ayesha’s eyes turned round... she turned her face aside to find her cheek cupped in his hand... the sincerity in his eyes melted every hesitation away... she didn’t realize since when her own tears came out of her eyes...

Surkhiyan Hai Hawaon Mein
Do Dilon Ki Milne Ki

She gently wrapped her hand around his... and nodded...

Sameer himself was astounded... he didn’t realize what all he said and how... he pulled her into a hug and closed his eyes...

“Marry me Ayesha...” he said slowly...

Ayesha burst into tears of happiness... he pinched her little red nose now.. and that is when the mist slowly started dissipating...

Ho Ho Arziyan Hai Nazaron Mein
Lamha Yeh Tham Jane Ki

“Toh is that a yes or no?” Sameer asked naughtily...

Ayesha looked at the spark in his eyes.. she put her head up and kissed his slightly pink cheeks... “Samjho kya jawaab tha Sameer...” she said...

Kaise Huzur Ji Yeh Lab Dikhlaye

As the temperature dropped lower he gently touched his forehead on hers... she smiled and rubbed her nose against his... looking into their eyes they knew it... they had been royally foolish... his thumb slightly skimmed her soft cold lips... she closed her eyes... clutching on his jacket... and he dropped his warm mouth on hers... ecstasy.. was an understatement...

Chuppi Bhi Lage Ke Bhi Gazab Yeh Dhaye

When they parted... they looked at each other’s eyes... breathing heavily... and then... the blush crept up to her cheeks... and his smile reached up to his eyes...

He locked his hand with hers... kissing her knuckles they both just sat next to each other... passing loving gazes every now and then...

Dheere Dhere Naino Ko Dhere Dhere
Jiya Ko Dheere Dhere Bhayo Re Saibo

“Waise Ayesha... the first day why were you civil with me?” Sameer asked out of the blue...

“Cause I saw you looking at me...” Ayesha smiled...

“It was sort of love in first sight for me... but then why did you smile at me...” Sameer asked...

Dheere Dheere Baiga Dheere Dhere Apna Sa Dheere Dheere
Laage Re Saibo

“Because I knew that...” Ayesha looked at a surprised Sameer and rested her head on his shoulders...

“When I saw you I fell in love, and you smiled because you knew.”

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Arjun gently parted and tucked away the tendrils from Sakshi’s face... “Sakshi...” he murmured... kissing her forehead...

“Hmm...” she answered... snuggling close to his chest... an unknown feeling swelled in her heart... she needed nothing else...

Heere moti main na chahoon
Main to chahoon, Sangam tera,
Mai to teri saiyaan, tu hai mera,

He chinned her up and looked at her pretty eyes... the two of them still were not perfect... there might be moments of silence between them...there might be days where he would be angry...

Saiyaan, saiyaanaaaaaaaaaan

But she would pull through no matter what... and he knew that... cause there was just one thing that both knew... the only thing that was in between them was their love...

“I know Arjun.. that maybe abhi tak saare cheezein settle nahi hue... but I will know that you lov..” Sakshi couldn’t complete as she found his lips locked with hers... Sakshi’s eyes momentarily closed and she clutched Arjun’s hand...

Tu jo choole pyaar se, araam se mar jaaun
Aaja chanda baaho mein tujhmein hi ghum hoi jaaun mai,

He parted for a few minutes and looked at her lips... still pouted... he chuckled slightly... cupping her cheek he said...

Tere naam mein kho jaaun,
Saiyaan, saiyaaaaaaaaaaaaan.

“I love you Sakshi... and we would pull through everything... ab aank kholke mujhe ek baar dekh bhi lo...itna sharmani ki kya baat hai... pati ne kiss kiya... koi aur toh nahi...” he smirked to find her eyes shot open and turn aside in the bed... showing fake anger...

Mera dil khushi se jhoome gaaye raatein.
Pal pal mujhe doobayein jaatein jaatein,

He gently wrapped his hands around her waist... she lovingly came back to his arms... “Tum zyaada der gussa nahi ho sakti mere saath na..” he said and gently caressed her cheeks... “Itna mushkil se toh paayi hoon... agar phirse chale jao..” her voice cracked... he closed his eyes in pain...

Tujhe jeet jeet haaron, yeh pran-pran waaru,
Haye aise main ni haru, teri aarti utaaru.

“Bharosa nahi hai Sakshi?” he asked.. his voice pained...

Tere naam se jude hai saare naate,
Saiyaan, saiyannnnn..

“Haalat pe nahi...” she sobbed out... it was his fault.. he always let the situations take care of them... never their love... cupping her cheeks he dropped a few feather kisses and claimed her mouth softly...

Banke maala prem ki, tere tan pe jhar jhar jaayoon
Baithun naiyan preet ki sansaar se har jayoon main,
Tere pyaar se tar jaayoon
Saiyaan, Saiyannnnn

A soft cry broke open upon the contact of his warm lips... they gently fit themselves against her soft ones... her hands wrapped around his neck... she fisted his hair as he gently transferred wet kisses onto her neck... “Arjun...” she softly moaned as he sucked the sensitive area of her neck...

He looked into her eyes.. he had her bundled in his arms... her warm aura bounded him to her... and he swore to kill himself if he ever hurt this woman again...

He looked into her eyes which were full of need, love, want, anxiety and questions.. she shivered slightly as he tugged on her grey shirt...

Yeh naram-naram nasha hai badhta jaaye.
Koi pyaar se ghunghatiya deta uthaye,

He kissed her forehead.. before he could say anything to her she placed her fingers on his lips... she smiled but he kissed them and whispered.. “I want you to be the mother of my children Sakshi...” as he was going to say something further she sealed his lips with hers... tears overflowing her eyes... guess they didn’t need anything else to convey... she slightly rose as his hands worked on her clothes... “I have loved, love and will always love you Arjun...” she whispered as he gently held her...

Ab baawara hua mann,
Jag ho gaya hai roshan,

Gradually he removed every barrier from them... not just physical.. but emotional as well... slowly he made himself a part of her... tears were shed... chaste kisses were shared...their hands ached to feel each other... her breath hitched every time she felt his light stubble on her bare skin as showered his love and passion for her... he slowly caressed the parting of her hair... where the auspicious vermillion lay... as if he gave her a promise... she wouldn’t lie to say that she felt as if she were to be wedded again...

yeh nayi-nayi suhagan,
ho gayi hai teri jogan,

He gently whispered in a ragged breath “Hold on Sakshi...” and raised her hips to meet his...she couldn’t stop but burst into tears of ecstasy and happiness whenever he claimed her as his own... each and every time he looked at her with an unfathomable amount of love in his dark orbs... for a second he didn’t shut his eyes... he loved her throughout the night... redeeming for all he lost.... she trembled and was on the verge of shattering... and that is when he would capture her safely in his arms... collecting her soul... and kissed her deeply in her heart... and she knew that she could never shatter under his love...

koi prem ki pujaran mandir sajaye.
Saiyaaan, Saiyaaaaaaaan

After hours he pulled her soft warm body next to his hard one... she buried her face into the crook of his neck as his hands tightened their grip around her bare skin... she shivered and trembled... it was too much for her in a single day... she was afraid that it might turn into a hallucination..

Heere moti mai na chahu mai to chahu sangam tera,
mai na jaanu, tu hi jaane mai to teri, tu hai mera...

Crushing her soft chest against his bare chest till he could feel her heartbeats he whispered gently into her ears... “I love you.. and so do you.. till yesterday it was a dream... but now.. this... it’s real...”

mai to teri......
tu hai meraaa..

“So it's not gonna be easy. It's going to be really hard; we're gonna have to work at this everyday, but I want to do that because I want you. I want all of you, forever, everyday. You and me... everyday.”

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Nani sat in her library... holding the photo of Abhimanyu Anand... soft tears of happiness fell from her eyes... his library was spotless... it felt as if he was here yesterday... she gently sat on the chair and went through his various pictures... she felt relieved... everyone of her children were happy...

Holding his photo near her heart she whispered... “Your Abha is coming soon... wait for me...” and she smiled as she felt his warm hands clasp hers...

“Love is like the wind, you can't see it but you can feel it.”
